24 Day Studio Ghibli Challenge: Day 14 → First Film

Kiki’s Delivery Service is my first anime and Studio Ghibli film I had ever watched. I was only five years old when a childhood friend lend me her tape, and I was enthralled by Kiki’s wondrous flight. As I grew older, I noticed details that I never thought of as a child; Kiki’s insecurity, Jiji’s sarcastic and humorous attitude, kindness from strangers, rude customers, the ever so clueless-persistent Tombo, soul searching from Kiki’s loss, and bravery in the most dire situation. Without a doubt, Kiki is the kind of person I want my future children to look up to.
